Norouz Celebration

MTO Sufi Association® at University Of Houston presented the Norooz Celebration, in harmony with the rebirth of nature, which always begins on the first day of spring. Norouz has been celebrated for more than 3,000 years. The event celebrated the New Year through dances, Haji Firooz, Zikr and Music performances from the MTO youth and young adults. Four Zikr presentations proved to reach the hearts of the guests as well as speeches and presentations about Norouz. Guests were invited to Persian pasties and refreshments at the end of the program.
