On the evening of Wednesday, October 3, 2007, the Georgia State University M.T.O. Sufi Association held its first poetry night event. This event took place in the Urban Life Building (College of Law); second floor – West Exhibit Area of the university. Our night began with member as well as non-members sharing poetry; some of which were creatively written and some from particular books or authors. One of the members shared a poem from the book Whispering Moments: Inspirations by Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha and played a very touching piece of music with it which attracted many passersby’s who had been standing around and on the stairs….
