Tamarkoz is the 1400 year-old Sufi practice of concentration and meditation, seeking to connect us with the reality within.
Unlike simple concentration methods taught in classes bearing the title “meditation,” Tamarkoz goes beyond concentration, which is limited to the mind, and moves to the heart—enabling deeper meditation.
The practice is built on a series of 5 different exercise groups which use posture, breathing, movement, relaxation, visualization, and energy work. The exercises include:
