Sufi Celebration
"The Inspiring Sound of the timeless player makes my heart rejoice every new day"
--Hazrat Shah Maghsoud Sadegh Angha--
Sufi Celebrations are held twice a year by volunteers from MTO Sufi Association® to celebrate and deliver the message of Islamic Sufism, that love is the single unifying force in the universe and it binds us all together. All of the volunteers present and share the teachings they have learned and the love and joy they have experienced in their lives through the practice of Sufism.
Each Sufi Celebration consists of presentations on the principles of Islamic Sufism, Tamarkoz® (or Sufi Meditation) Zikr (Sufi Chanting), and Sufi poetry including those from the great contemporary Sufi Masters, Molana Shah Maghsoud Sadegh-Angha and his son, Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha. Sufi Celebrations offer the audience, which consists of individuals with varying cultural, ethnical, religious and academic backgrounds, a lively and informative glimpse into the teachings and practices of Islamic Sufism.
